Dr. Sadofsky's Archive, 2011

Dr. Sadofsky's Archive is and installation for the National Gallery in Prague, as a part of the group exhibition Utopia on the Abyss, 2011. The installation was created as an environment, comprised of old informational materials, photos, agit-prop posters and voice recordings from the communist youth movement in the former Czechoslovakia and Eastern Germany. Durring the exhibition, Dr. Sadofsky (aka Petr Motycka) was assembling the archive into a ceherent structure, which was an initially impossible task. Part of the project was a live sound performance together with members of the experimental media group Cancel.
